Katrina Russell is the owner and opened the shop on Valentine's Day of 2009. As of the writing of this FQS article, Katrina's shop has been open for two weeks. Bless her quilting heart - she saw the need for a shop in her area when all the surrounding Wal-Marts decided to pull their fabric lines. The thought of quilters in her area having to drive an hour to get a spool of thread or a few yards of fabric was more than she could stand. This quaint little shop 'in the woods' certainly lives up to it's name.

Katrina sees her location and great customer service as the reason for her instant success as the local quilting and craft shop as she continues to expand beyond her current fabric lines and notions. She's already contemplating a move to a larger space due to the local demand. Her motto is 'If I don't have it, I'll do my best to get it' and that philosophy appears to be working!

The shop is planning a website in the future.
