'Quilt of Holes' story - very 'soul warming'

Linda Kirby is the owner and opened her shop in 1989. Linda's love for sewing and quilting began at an early age from her junior high school days in home economics classes. Along with the help of her mother, she developed her skills and passion for quilting and that progressed into opening her own shop to pursue that passion and help others who enjoy it as well.

As the shop's popularity has grown, so has Linda's offerings. The shop now boasts over 9,000 bolts of fabric spread throughout the many rooms in the delightful two story home. The expanded classroom area at the back provides a wonderful atmosphere for learning and sharing all those great quilting tips and tricks her clients have acquired from many of Linda's seminars and retreats she plans for the shop.

Linda's favorite aspect of being a shop owner is helping her visitors with their projects and seeing them completed. Customer service is a priority for her and her staff and we can attest to it. Mary (my better half) was working on the same multi-panel rooster block from an east coast catalog retailer that a member of Linda's staff had recently completed. With her help and guidance, Mary now has a plan to complete this tricky project. We're sold!

Linda plans to continue to offer the largest selection of fabric, books and patterns in Wisconsin, their same wonderful service and pass along all the latest and greatest the quilting world has to offer.

So, as you venture through Wisconsin and come anywhere near Wisconsin Dells, you'll want to take the 5-6 minute trip to Reedsburg and see the great selections at Quintessential Quilts.............and tell them Jeff and Mary sent ya.........
