Tomorrow's Quilts is located in Waco, Texas, between Dallas and Austin off Interstate 35, at the Valley Mills exit on Lake Air Drive. Check their ShopFacts link above for a map.
Linda Mather is the owner and opened her shop in 2004 with about 800 bolts of fabric and a classroom. Linda broke into the quilt business running someone else's shop for about 5 years and then took a break from working, only to sadly miss her customers and running the show, so she decided to open her own shop.
Over time, Linda's shop has grown from a 1000 square foot rented shop space to 3500 square feet in a different building that she now owns. The shop now handles a broad variety of fabrics from the new trendy designers as well as a large number of old favorites. Linda like to keep her fabric collections together as opposed to creating 'color walls' as her customers don't need orphan bolts of fabric anymore. It also stresses Linda's desire to provide her customers with quality service and whatever they need to create their new projects. Her desire is to have her customers think of Tomorrow's Quilts as their quilting home.
Linda plans to add more events and classes to her shop and looks forward to helping her customers in any way she can.
So, as you venture through Texas along I-35 and cruise near Waco to see Baylor University, the Dr. Pepper Museum or the Texas Ranger Museum, you'll want to stop and see the great selections at Tomorrows Quilts.............and tell them Jeff and Mary sent ya.........
